Awful, awful, awful.
The therapist left me in the room for 5 minutes and disappeared, I lay there cold with only one towel given to me. She then walks into the room and doesn't make eye contact. She spent half of the massage stretching and pulling at me, she comments on how tight I am but when it came to the actual massage she caused me significant pain. When I expressed it was painful. she reduced pressure to zero and went to lightly stroking me. I've come out of the massage feeling tender and not relaxed at all. She caused me pain physically and I feel robbed of £45.

Once the massage had finished, I told the lady and the white gentleman about the massage and the woman shushed me and said 'next time different lady'. There was no apology or empathy to rectify. I will never return and I most definitely do not recommend anyone else does. This is the second time i've given this place a go.

I had a one hour massage and it was really good. The therapist was super nice and managed to release many of my knots. Left there feeling much better! This is not a luxurious experience but instead it makes you really feel a difference after your massage.

One of the worst massage I ever had. Have had many Thai massages just not sure what the hell my masseuse was doing. My lady was much older and had no strength in her I didn’t want to offend so chose to stay quite but in fact the massage was terrible. Weird place in general.

Excellent 2 hour Thai massage. The therapist was competent and also strong when needed. Really sorted out my back and shoulder tension. Will return.

Calming space. Great massage. I visit once a week for muscle tissue conditioning and stretching after tough gym workouts.

After many years, I feel the standard has dropped. A poor quality massage from someone who is just not competent. No natural sense of rhythm, poor skills. It's no longer a budget option at £50, and the noise from the music school upstairs is intrusive. There used to be an infrared sauna which is no longer available, and the herbal tea, and compresses are no more. It's a bit scruffy.
It used to offer a slightly quirky but budget friendly service, but I no longer feel like the quality is there.

Apsara offers reasonably priced Thai massage in Deptford.
Close to Deptford bridge DLR and rail station as well as bus routes.
Friendly competent staff, with generally a good standard of skills.
Filtered water and freshly made hot ginger tea are offered, and (on request) access to the infra red sauna is included in the price of a massage.
Special offers for "men's Monday" and "women's Wednesday".
Limited disabled access. Level access, and good sized toilet, but narrow corridors and rooms.

Absolutely Great Massage place! Booked a 2 hour session today as I completely needed it and it was Fantastic!! You say how hard you want the massage soft/medium/Hard and just let the masseuse get to work. Professional! Amazing!

This is a wonderful and authentic place to go for a Thai massage. From the minute you walk in you feel like you've been transported to Thailand with smells of gorgeous incense and smiling staff.

Upon arrival you are shown to a lovely relaxing private room and then asked if you would like a Soft, Medium or Hard massage style - I chose Medium and it was perfect. I've left feeling rejuvenated and couldn't be happier!

I can only imagine the bad reviews are those who did not communicate with their masseur - no idea why, as they're all lovely. They are all incredibly open, professional and kind. I will definitely return here again for the couples massage.

The man at the front desk is also a really friendly, and is himself knowledgeable about Thai and Laos culture. It's AMAZING!
