The food is the taste of Thai.
Nice decoration, I feel like I am in Thailand, and I can practice Thai language with all the staff.
excellent service and environment.

This restaurant is incredible. Everyone needs to visit for lunch just for the incredible decor.
The food was also fantastic and very well presented with very nicely cut veg…
The staff were always willing to be available to assist and answer any questions, including customs if you wish to dine as a Thai.
I could spend hours just looking over the tables and wall carvings. All hand done in Thailand. Prices for lunch were very reasonable.

In short I would say it's one of, if not the best place in Leamington Spa for an incredible Gluten-free meal and dining experience.

The Thai elephant is one of the places I've been meaning to go to for ages and I'm kicking myself now for not going in sooner. It looks amazing even from the outside but wow, it's absolutely stunning inside, especially if you have an appreciation for fine woodwork/ furniture making.
Of corse i did not go in to just to look at the decor but it's definitely mention worthy.

We went in for lunch yesterday, I asked at the front if they catered for allergies as i have a few and need to be especially careful to avoid gluten (inc cross contamination). They were so helpful, they looked through the menu and checked with the kitchen and told me i had quite a few options so we took a seat.

There were quite a few options, more than I had even hoped for so to make things easier we had a look at the lunchtime set menu specials and again i wasn't disappointed with gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options.

The satay starters were so deliciously moreish, beautifully marinated succulent skewers of creamy peanutty heaven cooked to perfection, I could easily of eaten them a few times over.
For a starter of a set menu (under £15 for 2 corses), it was fantastic and a decent portion.

For mains we had the sweet and sour chicken and the Thai green curry, both came with a bowl of steamed rice. They were both simply delicious. Now I do love sweet and sour in most of it's glorious forms so this was an easy choice for me and again it didn't disappoint. It had everything you'd expect, very flavoursome but also very light and delicate.
I think it's great that they served our food in the middle of the table as it was easier to try both dishes and I'm so happy i did. The Thai green curry was incredibly delicious, deep, rich, fresh, light, aromatic and creamy with a pleasant amount of spiciness. Again very moreish and decent portion sizes.

We finished everything and left feeling happy and satiated.
There was no service charge added to the bill, though prosecco and I did leave a nice, well deserved tip.

From the moment we stepped in there the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The music is mellow, the atmosphere is lovely, it's clean and well kept and has lots of lovely plants that must take some looking after. It seems really well run, even the little touches like the plates were warm and the glasses were chilled are very much appreciated.
I thoroughly enjoyed everything about dining at the Thai elephant and will most definitely and unsurprisingly, be returning.

We had been there couple of times with family including young kids. The food is great and the staff is very friendly, very attentive.
If you want a quiet room, especially if you have a young kid. There are some alcove rooms downstairs that are just perfect. We sat in one last time and it was great for our 5 year old so she could have her own space, do her drawings peacefully. We had a great time, and the food was so tasty very well presented. Highly recommend.

Best decoration ever seen in the UK, loads of hand crafted wood and tropical plants. Nice food but little bit small portion.

We came here as a group, and everyone was very pleased with the food. First of all, the food arrived very quickly. They had a big selection of Thai food that was suitable for everyone, including vegan options. They also offer a few Thai drink choices, I tried the lager which was good and it arrived ice cold, just the way I prefer. If I remember the name correctly, I ordered Neua Gata, which was delicious. And I really enjoyed the presentation of the food, when it arrived they bring it in a way that it remains hot even sizzling a bit. I definitely recommend this place.

One of our favorite restaurants! I love the green curry. Food is exceptional, staff are friendly and helpful and the décor is delightful. real carved wood for the tables. This picture was from my mother's 100th birthday! She loved The Thai Elephant and lived next door at Carlton house for many years so any opportunity we had, we'd go to the Thai Elephant.

First time here. Been meaning to come for a while! Huge menu with plenty of authentic dishes from all over Thailand. The Thai mixed starter was very good all round. Really enjoyed the Gai hor Bai teay. Girlfriend had the massaman which they kindly left the crushed nuts off for her. I had the moo yang. Both were very tasty. All of the staff were very friendly will definitely be back.
