It was alright, but not great. The staff were both very friendly and accommodating as we didn't have a booking.
What we wanted wasn't available but we were only advised when we ordered, so had to panic order. Ended up with 3 starters to share - the fishcakes suited the tamarind sauce more than the sweet chili it came with, the dim sum was nice, and the 'traditional' som tum (papaya salad) didn't even have peanuts or garlic, which is specifies in the menu.
We did give feedback at the time and they removed the price of one of the beers, which was a nice gesture. It just wasn't the best way to spend an hour

Would definitely recommend, service wonderful, lovely couple, and food was one of the best meals we had in Rye. You won’t be disappointed. Menu small but selection was just right.

The restaurant had a lovely environment and looked great. The staff were so lovely and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing. For a starter my mum and I had Vegetable Tempura and Dim sum. For a main we both had Pad Thai. Yet again the food was amazing a must visit if you are in Rye, and very reasonably priced. :)

Popped in with a friend, early evening on a Tuesday. We hadn't booked but were given a warm welcome and a table for two straight away.
Long story short, the food was excellent, the restaurant and staff are lovely, and all at a very reasonable price too.
We loved it.

Best most friendly restaurant serving amazing delicious food!! The restaurant is on the smaller side and so cosy. We went on a Friday evening and it was near empty with the occasional take away orders coming in. Which made for a lovely evening chatting. If you like Thai cuisine then this is the best around east Sussex. So delicious, the next night we ordered take away. The man who served us was so friendly with the best service, even putting the napkin on us. I believe it's family run and you can tell as it's very personal and welcoming. Such s lovely location and now it's getting colder it felt like we had stepped in the 18th century but with amazing food and lovely people. Highly recommended!!

Food sooooo tasty! Delicious! They don't do desserts or tea/coffee so have a starter and main! Excellent value for money. Beautiful surroundings. Polite and helpful staff. Only issue was the plates weren't warmed.

We decided to have something to eat in Rye early Sat night before heading back to Warwickshire, The Lemongrass was fully booked but they managed to let us have a table for an hour and a half which was plentyof time. The food was excellent, I had the Sea Bass in Chile well presented tasty and plenty of it. Would definitely recommend, the only downside was we didn't stay long enough due to the long drive home.

Had the pleasure of dining here, with my wife. It rates five stars for the welcoming greeting, the politeness and professionalism of service, ambience, and food presentation. Our duck spring rolls were very good, the duck in tamarind was excellent but several pieces of our pork belly main were dry and somewhat tough. A pity because the sauce was excellent.
We booked and that was good as the restaurant was full when we left about seven thirty. There was also a brisk trade in the away meals.
