Rumwong Thai Restaurant

Wonderful food, atmosphere and incredible staff made this dining a truly enjoyable experience. I found the Thai food here exceptionally fresh and light. So much more enjoyable than the heavy oily dishes often found. Looking forward to my next overnight here. I'll definitely get a table early before they are all gone.

One of the staff was being so rude that she nearly dropped the glasses on us and heavily placed the food on our table but left without saying sorry. Another staff was polite tho, explaining the menu.

Been here several times so I can honestly say Rumwong is one of the best restaurants in Guildford. Rumwong offers a wide variety of food which are freshly prepared Most of the food is reasonably priced except I think the small option of rice is fairly expensive …more than £3! Service is good. On the whole, it was a wonderful experience. Plenty of car parking nearby too and getting there is easy. A reservation in advance will be good especially for the weekend.

Most of the dishes we placed order met with high standards of Thai cuisine. Particularly impressed with the starters and salad. As for the mains, the fried noodle could be even better if it could be made a tad saltier and less sweet.

Go to Thai place from Cranleigh, Salford and Guildford.
Food - dishes don’t have that consistent sweet taste which is delicious and authentic. Portion sizes are decent.
Atmosphere - good, calm atmosphere.
Staff - we have the staff we like that are friendly. Some are not as friendly as the ones we like.
Service - perfectly quick!

The venue is stylish, clean and spacious. I found some dishes were too sweet. Service not very friendly compared with some other local Thai restaurants.

Excellent Thai restaurant. I love their smoothies. Overall excellent food. I really enjoyed the kai pud bai horapa (chicken with bamboo and basil). The dessert was not my favourite but only a matter of personal taste. I will try something else in the future.

Well worth the value I would say; I mean is it pretty expensive, yes a little but definitely would be worth for the fine dine in and the ambience they provide. So it's all great to take the best ones in here, maybe a date or for a casual meet!
Always love the green curry from Thai cuisine wherever I go, well is more delicious in here and also they could make more spicy if you would like to have the most hot curry! Yeah I do 🤩🤩🤩!
Just try as many as possible, just because all the dishes are extremely delicious and differ from each one! Just loved the atmosphere and the hospitality of the people, well you would see the best service from this restaurant. 🤩🤗
