The Milky Way Adventure Park

We have been here loads of time over the years and always have a great time.
A great easy going fun day out for the family. All the rides entertainment is included in the admission price - entry is reasonable for a full day of activities.

Food and drink are well priced, but always best to bring your own and enjoy out on greens.

Staff are friendly and relaxed..definitely recommend this for a family day out.

An unexpected gem!
We all really enjoyed our day at The Milky Way Adventure Park. We had two younger children (7 and 6 years) as well as our older niece and nephew (15 and 13 years). All of them had a fantastic time. Special mentions for David the falconer. The bird shows were really good. He has a brilliant demeanour, funny and engaging whilst being really informative. His birds are incredibly impressive in flight!
The dodgems were a lot of fun. Ninja stars also brilliant for all ages and very tiring!
Some of the activities incur small costs such as the penalty shootout, but this was well worth it in our view.
Everything is provided with a smile and the staff were very helpful and encouraging with our younger children.
I'll be honest, before arriving I expected things to be a bit cheap and cheerful. It was absolutely the opposite. Great value and lots of fun, for us adults too!

Best theme park I've been to in a long time. Our 7 Yr old Duaghter loved it. Great value for money, great service, hopefully will grow with local and tourism support

Hands down best family attraction I've ever been too. We have a 13 and 2 year old so struggle to find places that suit both of them. They both had an amazing day. The special under 5s play area is OUTSTANDING! and teenager loved the ninja run. The sci-fi bit is super as an extra and somewhere that doesn't charge extra for dodgems is practically unheard of. Will be going back, which is great too as they give you a return ticket for just 7.50 a person. Birds centre was empty when we arrived as well so was like our own personal experience

We had a fabulous time here. I went with my partner and our two girls aged 3 and 12. There was enough to entertain both of them. Whilst the eldest enjoyed the ninja warriors,the youngest did soft play. A roller coaster for each of them.
My personal highlight was the bird of prey show presented by David Rampling. He was entertaining and I've never experienced a show like it before where I've had the birds skimming past my cheek. His knowledge and passion really shone through, his artwork was also spectacular.
Also good facilities and a good range of food over the two restaurants .Highly recommend this place .

Excellent day out. Plenty for the grandkids and adults to do and see. No long wait for the rides (which were well used by the grandkids) and they have a lot inside as well as outside. Shows worth taking in, just check which days they run. Birds of prey, excellent. Liked it so much we took advantage of reduced tickets on a return visit.

An interesting adventure park dating from 1983. Well kept and clean. Helpful, friendly staff. Includes several indoor play areas, entertainment halls, dodgems, later shot ride, Dr Who & Star Wars displays, small guage railway, outside maze, small roller coasters, external slides, bird of prey centre, cafes, gift shop etc. (too many to list). Plenty to do but with limited opening hours (10am-4pm, when we visited) it's best to plan your visit so you don't miss out on the things that matter most to you. Enjoy.

We went with 2 adults and 5 kids. All the kids had loads of fun. The faves for all of them were the roller coaters and the space laser rides. They loved the play area and they had food and drink right next to play area which was perfect. There was also bumper cars which had a slow session (perfect for young ones) and fast session (perfect for older ones)
