St Clare Hospice Shop - Harlow

Absolutely love this shop. The staff are absolutely lovely and you can have a really nice conversation with them. There's a fantastic selection of things to choose from. This isn't my local charity shop but I am more than happy to go the extra distance to have the great customer care this place offers. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

I have to say this is the best charity shop I have visited. You cannot beat the the prices here along with the great quality of products. I come in at least once a week if I can and they always have new products out. The staff are amazing, always friendly and polite. The staff seem to enjoy their job and work really well together which in turn has made me think about volunteering here along side them. SIGN ME UP ST CLARES!

Finally there is some improvements in this shop.
I think it's a new manager and that is something positive. Shop is a bit more clean than before. Good variety of items. Toy's not checked properly before selling, some of them with battery acid, broken, damaged basically not useable. Clothing should be checked properly before selling them. Regarding pricing, I can see some improvements.
I saw how many items end up in rubbish bin... Dear manager please consider to place another bin or box inside the shop for free give aways. People will take them and use those items and you could save space in your bin for real rubbish.
And surely you could get more customers.
Overall experience heading to right direction, fingers crossed and you achieve what you looking for.

Excellent shop . Staff are very friendly and helpful. The new lay out ihas made it much easier to see stuff for sale. Well done all of all . We keep coming back.

Lovely shop with very lovely volunteers that are always happy to help. It has some really good finds and prices are reasonable. I try to visit as often as I can. Always pleasure. You should visit too.

Such a great charity and this is always a good place to look round. Books in perfect condition and at an attractive price. Staff never less than pleasant and welcoming. Shop well laid out with decent amount of room to wander round. Well done to all.

Did you know this shop doesn't take books unless they are in a bag. No I didn't ever. Took 5 books today and was told this by a chap. We didn't leave our books there. Took them to another charity who happily accepted our donation without a bag. Thought this was very petty won't be donating there again
