Great selection of items in good condition for low cost, reasonable cost for delivery (which was next-day!) and staff in the store were very friendly. Got a great sofa in good condition with no stains or rips for £65 and a display cabinet for £35. Very happy all round.

I made an online booking for a collection of 15 boxes of quality items and received confirmation and the message that I would be contacted with a collection time by the Croydon branch. Collection day came around and no word from BHF. I left voicemails and contacted head office who promised to contact the store - still no response. BHF please update your website to show that you no longer need donations.

Awful customer service. Refused to sell me an item on the shop floor for the ticketed price as they had decided to sell it on ebay. Then tried to guilt-trip me by implying I should be happy to pay more than the item is worth online as they were 'sure I'd want the charity to get as much money as possible'. They've now listed it twice for an extortionate price and both times it hasn't had any bids, so the charity has lost money thanks to the incompetence of staff.
The money would have only gone towards the CEO's £200,000 salary, so maybe it's for the best.

Paid for a sofa plus over £50 delivery and no sign of it on the day. Tried calling the store and no response, and you cant even leave a message. Pathetic.

All the fridge freezer are dirty . At least clean things your trying to sell . You got the items for free .. another business masquerading as a charity

I went there to try to get a cheaper coffee table than the proper furniture stores. I was so surprised, it’s all used and priced like new! I will be going T K maxx, it’s cheaper there for brand new.

I really wanted to help out a charity, and I remember like 5 years ago when I was a student we got most of our furniture from charity shops for 20-50 bucks a piece for much bigger items than this. Even ikea is cheaper! No wonder the shop was deserted from people…

Overall, it was a waste of a trip and I am very disappointed. I think they forgot what is the purpose of a charity shop!
