Marie Curie Shop

Utterly appalling. My parents have donated thousands of pounds worth of stuff to these people, as they provided care for my Grandmother when ill. Only to be loudly and publicly told today, whilst donating more good quality items in the Gravesend shop, that they have been 'blacklisted'. No information given as to why or what this means, especially considering all items have been gifted in good or excellent condition, with a pleasant attitude from my parents. My parents have been left feeling extremely upset and confused. Disgraceful. Do not go here.

I was disappointed today with my visit. I had taken some photos of the shop window and opening times to assist enquirers. But after a volunteer told me I was not allowed to I deleted them. It's a shame as I see the only photo on Google maps is for the bins out the back.

A nice charity shop with pleasant staff.

On a related note - who on earth leaves a negative review for a charity shop? Most of the people are there without being paid, for the good of a charity which saves lives. Shame on you.
