PROCEED WITH CAUTION!

Deliverers waited probably 10 seconds after ringing the doorbell before quickly driving off.

We were ridiculously asked to pay a second delivery charge and, as I was not home, my elderly father and brother had to carry a 6 ft wardrobe home.

For a charity, absolutely no empathy on part of the workers whose customer service DEFINITELY needs a lot of work.

Brilliant gem of furniture shops in Cardiff. Really helpful staff, use it both to re-home furniture and to give other furniture a new-home. Sells new furniture too.

I bought a couple of items and one of them was broken on the way to being delivered and the other didn’t fit. They didn’t take any responsibility for the broken item. And when I bought them I told them about by concern with yhe sizes and they said not to worry because the’d refund the money. But when I asked for my money back they didn’t refund the delivery cost (£20). That was quite disappointing. I wouldn’t buy anything there again.

Worth keeping an eye on the stock, sometimes you can find a gem. A mix of new and second hand furniture.

This particular British Heart Foundation shop is reasonably sized. I've yet to have anything delivered from the BHF so I can't comment on that.

On an accessibility level, there is a wheelchair ramp to access the door but then a tall door step at the door so take that into consideration before visiting.

After booking furniture collection online and following up with a phone call I received automatic emails with instructions on how to prepare my furniture for collection. The instructions stated that large furniture should be dismantled. I dismantled the cupboard being collected and was told by the men who came to collect it that they could not collect dismantled items. I went into the store and explained this to the manager and she said that staff explicitly would have said on the phone to not dismantle my item. They did not or I would not have gone to the trouble. She said that despite being the manager of the store she had never seen the collection instructions on the website before. Item was destroyed and left for garbage collection when it could have been bought and re used by someone that needed it.
