British Red Cross shop, Hay-on-Wye

Cut above the usual charity shop.

-Cute shop
-Small
-Friendly staff member or volunteer
-Decent kids section for such a small shop
-Prices are ok

A lovely shop with some super finds and attractive displays. However, my visit was spoilt by the manner of the staff member serving! A surly man who should not have been pulling faces and shaking his head behind my back (viewed by my friend). I didn't see a tiny sign that said "staff only beyond this point" and I passed it to pick up something I wished to buy on a display. He should have said something to my face and not been so rude and childish!

Well presented shop with some excellent items. Nice staff too. Recommended.
