James Perry Decorating & Tiling

James has just painted the exterior of my house to a superbly high standard. He was quick to come and give me a quote, communicated seamlessly over arrival times and worked with a degree of perfectionism rarely encountered. His attention to detail is fantastic and the final job looks a million dollars. Now I've found James (by personal recommendation) I'll never go anywhere else. I guess I could have shaved a few pounds off with someone else, but I would never have got this quality and meticulous finish. Thanks again James; great job!

We contacted James after Christmas to complete tiling in our kitchen and he has been fantastic throughout. He came out the same day to look and provide us with a quotation, and within a week he was tiling! He takes pride in his work and constantly checked to see that we were happy! He’s also been helpful in just letting us know that what we have picked is right for the room. Couldn’t recommend him enough :)

I have used James twice now to undertake work on my father's flat in Taunton. My father is almost 90 and it can be a challenge for him when trying to find someone who he can trust and get on with. James was excellent not only in the quality of the work but also in making sure my father felt comfortable having someone around who he did not know.

The first piece of work was the refurbishment of my father's bathroom, the complexities of the work meant that James need to work around a plumber and electrician with the initial preparation of removing the old tiling. Once the bath had been removed and a shower tray installed, James was able to undertake the tiling and decorating. James was very accommodating and put in some very long hours in order to meet my tight timelines.

The second piece of work was to decorate the remainder of my father's flat. Once again James did an excellent job in the preparation and final finish. I have seen many a paint job spoiled because of bad preparation. Not with James, he was very thorough and checked everything with me before moving on to the next stage.

I can thoroughly recommend James, and will be getting him back to tile and decorate my father's new kitchen when it is installed during 2020.

We were looking for a tiler to do our bathroom and were recommended James by a friend... from the outset, James was incredibly polite, helpful and understanding of the project and timescale involved. James went out of his way to get to us as quickly as possible, provided a very reasonable quote and then completed the work to an incredibly high standard - all within a week! I can't recommend James Perry highly enough. Having experienced many decorators over the years, James is by far the best in terms of quality and workmanship. Whether its painting or laying wallpaper, his work is fantastic and its so comforting to know the decoration has been carried out properly and will last!....He is also a lovely chap, which makes the experience even better! 5* !!

Thoroughly recommend James Perry for quality decorating & tiling in Somerset. James has re-decorated our cottage from top to bottom and it looks fantastic. Also kitchen, bathroom and cloakroom re-tiled to a very high standard, existing kitchen units repainted and worktop refurbished. James has done the most beautiful job painting our lounge and bedroom, despite the bedroom starting off in a very poor state. His attention to detail is amazing. We are absolutely thrilled with his work and he has been a pleasure to have working here.

James completed floor and wall tiling of our bathroom in January. His work was to a high standard and he gave very good advice on how to get the result we wanted. He was punctual, worked tidily and completed within his estimated time and budget. We'll be using him for out next project soon.
