Fired Earth

Scorched Earth more like! I have found the process of purchasing tiles from Fired Earth to be highly frustrating and not an experience I wish to repeat. The incompetent assistant messed up my order (turns out that when I tried to arrange collection 4 weeks after ordering they had failed to place the order) and they never answer their phone when I tried to resolve the matter. They also lied to me about the status of my order when I eventually did get through to their number, telling me that they had emailed my wife (even though I gave them my email address when ordering), but we definitely received no such email. I have found the service far below the standards that an expensive shop like Fired Earth should offer, and the final straw was feeling that I had been lied to by the assistant.

We've used the factory outlet many times over the past year and have always found the experience very positive and helpful. I have read the negative reviews here but it's certainly not my experience with the factory outlet. We've got some great bargains and any minor issues have been dealt with promptly and professionally. The staff in the outlet go above and beyond. Only good things to say.

Went to the warehouse at Adderbury for the second time for 2 small towel hooks and was told that they would have to be ordered. They charge £10 if I want them posted and when I said it wasn’t very good service and surely they should have them in stock or you could ‘click and collect’ I was told ‘they are a luxury brand not Argos!’ Totally disgusted with there customer service.

Not what it used to be. Fired Earth have gone down the route of selling trashy 'international' style kitchens and bathrooms which really do not offer much charm. I preferred their better-crafted stock from 15 years ago. The shop, as expected is now complete with annoying assistants who put on a metropolitan jivey fake posh accent (you know what I mean). The warehouse is ok but their pricing could be a bit clearer as seldom are the items labelled which gives the impression that they make it up as they go along.

Staff are just fabulous here. No there might not always be what you want in stock but Harry and Rhiannon are so lovely and will always check before you go if you ring them

I’ve left messages without any response.
I’ve been speaking to them via their website and they were going to call me back with prices but have not. I wouldn’t be surprised if this company goes out of business during the lockdown.

Just had the most fabulous experience here. Emma and Teresa couldn’t have been more helpful. Full of design ideas and solutions. Fantastic customer service. Thank you so much!

Very friendly and helpful staff very relaxing shopping experience a must for bathrooms and tiling also look at there wooden flooring
