Black Boots Tyres - Team Protyre

I've had a fair bit of work done by Blackboots and Wheels In Motion over the past few weeks. I've fitted their recommended springs, and had their fast road allignment done on my MX5 and the car is an absolute dream to drive. The level of professionalism and quality of work done is top notch, they've been absolutely amazing in communications, especially Joe who did the allignment and offered a lot of excellent advice. I'm really glad I brought my MX5 here. I also got an allignment done on my XJR and that too handles like an absolute dream now. Thoroughly recommend the allignments at this workshop as well as any handling modifications you're going to make because these guys know their stuff and are very helpful and professional.

After having an ongoing problem with my classic Mustang tramlining and feeling very unsteady over 50mph, I was recommended to Blackboots.
Their technician Joe was really helpful and after measuring up the car was able to explain in simple language how the current settings were impacting on the handling.
An hour or so later and with the numerous adjustments made the car has been transformed. A quick blast down the bypass towards home the car was solid as a rock and no longer a need me to wrestle without the steering wheel to keep it on the road.
I am really pleased and cannot recommenced these guys highly enough - !!

Had the suspension geometry on my MX5 set-up by these guys. Joe is the only person I would trust to do it properly. Needless to say, the car now drives and handles as it should. If you have an MX5 or S2000 whose handling doesn't quite live-up to your expectations, do yourself a favour and get down to these guys ASAP. You will be pleasantly surprised at what can be achieved.

Just wanted to say thank you to Joe for doing the geometry on my car this afternoon. Top bloke and the car drives so much better. If you have a performance car make sure you gives these guys a try. Very highly recommended.

I’ve been going to Black Boots since it started business, I even remember seeing pictures of the floor going down when the founder was building it. The founder with his business partner always put the customer first.

I’ve had full suspension geometry done here right down to a simple tyre change and the service, focus on safety and putting you first always shines through.

I had a recent visit at Christmas and they (as you would expect) were very busy, reception staff couldn’t be more accommodating, in trying to fit me in at this time of year, when they got backed up, they moved me again and made sure I could get my car done.

The waiting area is comfortable, has drinks, snacks and a TV on the go with reading material and the workshop team always keep you up to date on the progress and when finished provide advice and suggestions (not for sales) but for your safety.

Top team of people there and I’ll continue to be a regular visitor for all my tyre, suspension and car needs.

Took my MX-5 to get the fast road settings. Arrived early and they saw me straight away, incredibly professional and really friendly. Driving away, the car was transformed - I can't recommend these guys enough!
