National Tyres and Autocare - a Halfords company

Rude staff, and very slow and arrogant. I booked my company van for two tyres for first job 08:30 morning next day in Maidstone branch. when I arrived they said it will take 3hours for them to fit the tyre because my job wasn’t booked.utter useless and disappointing….

booked my fitting slot for 12:30 for a tyre that I allready paid for online.
arrived at 12:20 for them to tell me it's an hour wait and I have 3 people in front of me.
Then when it was my turn....they couldn't find my tyre. Very poor service when there is so much competition for tyres in maidstone.

My car went in for full service, when i collected my car my AC was blowing hot air (I can assure you it was perfectly fine when i dropped it off). I only noticed something was amiss when the lead to my dash cam which was tucked under the trim all around was hanging loose in the footwell. I know dashcams by law have to be unplugged when entering a workshop due to GDPR laws so this should have been unplugged via the lighter port.
I've since had my AC re-gassed at a a cost of £60 to be told that it didn't need doing. I then paid for diagnostics on the AC to be told the pressure temperature sensor was at fault. We then bought the part and my husband fitted it. Upon removing the casing he found a wire hanging loose with no sensor attached - funny that, it was missing completely! He plugged it in and hey, the AC now works. A very simple thing to be removed to try and get some work out of us. All you've done is cost me well over £100 in finding this out and given yourself a bad review. Nice try National Tyres, i wonder how many other parts go missing on the hope you can get us back to spend more money. ***STEER CLEAR FROM THESE CONNING PEOPLE***

Booked through Halfords for 8:30am for an oil change. I was told it'll be an hour. When I came back they didn't have the oil filter and hadn't done anything. I will come back here if this is how they operate.

If you value your life don’t go here, your tyres will be fitted incorrectly. And let’s say customers service isn’t at there forefront… certainly not service with a smile. Also you will be left waiting around or having to return multiple times as there booking slots mean nothing.

Phoned ahead the day before to book an appointment 1pm. Arrived 5 minutes before appointment time to be told there is an hour wait due to staff calling in sick. Whilst loading up a tyre van, a tyre hit our car and caused the bumper to fall down out of its clips and scratch it. Should have left here after all the red flags. We let them know the nuts would need to be heated due to this being needed last time. We head into Maidstone for an hour, get back to being told they have tried to contact us (missed call was 3 minutes prior) as they can't do 4 wheel alignment due to lowered car. Their colleague steps in and says its just front axel alignment only which sorted out the first colleagues dilemma. 40 minutes later, the alignment is measured and we were called over to view the readings and was told about a detached AC radiator which was nice of that guy and the only brownie points they received for the whole visit. 10 minutes later they told us the nuts had ceased and they had ran out of Oxy to do it which we had let them know about at the start- almost 2 hours previous and before even handing the keys over! Also, whilst we were there, we witness their tyre van reverse into a car on the main road and cause damage. A joke of a business understaffed or not.
