Kwik Fit - Dumbarton

Had a blowout on the M8, popped into Dumbarton Kwik Fit on a Sunday. My man Lee was the only one working and was able fit us in, smashed a new tire on in good time, getting us back on the road for our holiday. No messing around, great job very professional and great customer service. Would recommend for anyone local or just in the area. Lee you're a legend and a life saver, keep up the good work. Had nothing but good experiences with the guys at Kwik Fit Dumbarton over several years. Always friendly and helpful. I find it better to leave the car with them than wait around, as it can get busy in the reception area.
If you keep an eye on the offers they can be really good too.
Worth booking in advance if you can, but if you do drop in on the off chance, they will always do their best to get you sorted.

The mechanics went above and beyond to assist me and my elderly mother. When we drove into KwikFit earlier in the day we had a flat tyre. Left the car with the boys and was reassured when I received a call telling me both front tyres needed replacing and the back tyres were actually winter tyres. I was happy to go ahead with replacing all the tyres.

AVOID at all costs. Will Never Take my car there ever again.
Went there to get new tyres and was offered a complementary brake health check and done some major brake work paying over 500£ . 3 weeks later took my car to a garage for its MOT and it failed cause some issues with my brakes and i had to get it properly done . Very unprofessional and dishonest.

Decided to go ahead with plan and he fitted me in fairly quickly, the service and communication was perfect! Very fair price for what I had completed. Thanks guys 😁

Disappointed. Spoke Mon 0906am and again at 0931 am to check that they had the right tyres following a puncture to recover my car. Second call was to confirm I could not make it Monday but had arranged for Weds. Was told fine no problem call on way and will fit in. Feel free to check call recording, happy to give my number. Called Weds on way (first 100 miles of my 600 mile journey) and was told no way could they fit me in. Despite me reminding them of previous chat (which was denied) and being aware i would need hotels/delaying onward travel. Sorted with another very helpful Kwikfit who went out their way.

Took the car in for a free health check. Quick as anything (despite it being quite busy, and a small garage in comparison) and took the time to explain things to me and give recommendations. Friendly and considerate :)

Bit disappointed, after paying £160 for a tyre, sales person tells me he can fit the tyre to the wheel, but can’t fit the wheel to the car( I was using a space saver) it takes longer to fit the tyre than to put a wheel on, maybe supplied and fitted means on the wheel not the car, sorry won’t be back
