Harris Brothers - Team Protyre

Brilliant team fitted 4 tires on the DPD work van after work, took them about half the time to fit 4 compared to some other companies who take an hour to fit 1 on my car, really friendly staff and squeezed me in short notice just before they shut tonight, 5stars isn't enough highly recommend👍

Asolutey amazing service from all the employees there. Quick turn around and left with complete confidence as I witnest them all go above and beyond for every single customer, explaining everything from braking faults, punctures, tyre dates & taking the time to show any tyre isues to all customers 💯%👌

One member of staff even offered all the customers ice cream as it was hot weather & was really happy to see that they had taken the time to cable tie the hub cap covers back on where many other places haven't in the past. The little things don't go unnoticed😊

Though I used the general public side this time same amazing service on the comercal vehicle side in the past when I took dpd vans there.

Will 100% use them again and can't fault them one bit 6x🌟 as 5 ain't enough. I won't go anywhere else now and can't recommend them enough 👍

Commercial department most helpful I’ve ever seen. Not only did they have the size in stock, I’d been to two other places before, they fitted me in straight away. Took the time to show me the fault and cleaned it up too.
Five star! Can’t thank them enough.

Don't bother going here unless you've got PLENTY of time to waste. 1 hour 20 mins waiting. Nothing done. 3+ people given an appointment at the same time.
3 people working. Well, 2 actually. The 3rd spent more time talking to people and going for a cigarette!!! When I got there I was told
'We're flat out so you'll have to wait a bit'

I've been going to Harris Bros for tyres ever since I started driving for over 14 years but I'm sad to say I won't be using their services anymore. I wasn't going to write this review but after seeing other reviews and 2 other people I know giving similar comments, I felt I had to.

Earlier this year I went to have my front two tyres replaced. Thirty minutes later, I drove away finding that my steering was out and wouldn't align back to centre after turning. Having been here for many years, I thought it was some honest mistake and was forgotten and that it could be quickly rectified. After an hour of waiting for the problem to be fixed, I was told that there was a problem with my car (I believe they said it was the tyre rods) and that it would cost in excess of £500 to fix. I told them that this wasn't very likely as the car had been serviced and passed it's MOT with no minors or majors within the last 4 months. I was told that I could take the car somewhere else for a second opinion and quote but they would not fix it, under any circumstances, in the price I paid to chance my tyres unless I paid the extra cost. Needing the car for a travel for London the next day, this was highly frustrating.

I was recommended to go to 'Phelps & Williams' who took at a look at the problem for me and informed me of a few things:

1. They had never seen such poor workmanship done to a car in changing some tyres.

2. Looking at the car steering alignment that Harris Bros gave me, they had actually made it worse and was out by more degrees going out as when I brought the car to them.

3. They could fix the damage made by Harris Bros for £30 rather than the sum of £500 quoted to me by Harris Bros

The manager of the site was actually quite a nice guy but did not accept any liability for negligence (or worse) from any of his staff who looked at my car. He said that it will be dealt with internally but didn't give me any assurance that anything would be taken any further.

Overall I am very disappointed in the service that was given to me on this instance. I did hope that it was an isolated case but after speaking to others it is clear that I would not recommend coming here in the future.

Service MOT and work on our motorhome. Outstanding customer care , communication and work schedule completed as indicated. Will be a regular customer here.

I would just like to say a big thank you to the gentlemen who helped me today at around 2:20 pm. I wish I got his name. I think he was about to start work (welshy accent) He was so helpful and kind. Your team are incredible! I would 100% recommend this business to everyone. I don't live local to them but 2 month ago I had the same amazing customer service by another team member. So I made my way from uplands to your location and yet again I had an amazing experience. Thank you very much 👏

5 stars to the Fforestfach team! I was due to drive from Swansea to Bolton today and was concerned about my tyres. I was given an appointment within an hour of me calling and all 4 of my tyres were changed efficiently. Thank you for helping me to drive home safely for Christmas! I will definitely be returning in the future.
