Visited the opening day today and travelled on the first general public train at 12.30
Still lots of work to do but shows lots of potential.
Future running onto the gcr mainline is a interesting one and will be a good link of tourism.
Will return in 2016 when it fully opens.

What a great little place with lots to do here for all ages. Including Model trains, adventure walks, small museum. A lot of effort has been put in to make it a great place and I'm sure there will be lots more to come. The cafe looks like a great place to visit on a regular basis. You might not even know the Mountsorrel Railway is there as it's off the GCR mainline kinda hidden away. So well worth a visit!

A great place to visit if you like stream trains. Great cafe and a nice place to visit for a couple of hours.

Always something interesting. Some lovely looking food, although haven't tried.

Ice cream is very nice.

Always enjoy dropping in, watch the trains, enjoy a coffee and have a quick read of my book or magazine.

Visited first time here as we were meeting up with some family and it was lovely. Nice little cafe with friendly staff. Food was nice and lovely cakes too. It did get very busy while we where there but there was plenty to see and do for the kids.
