A historic building with connections to the gunpowder plot. It's full with symbolic meaning which if you get the guide, will tell you what they mean.

Unique triangular building, a "must visit" for anyone interested in architecture, historic buildings, heritage! Fascinating story behind the building, and very affordable entrance fee. It's a small building but definitely worth a detour!

Not much parking space, but an interesting place to visit. It can be fully covered in less than half an hour. It's worth looking up the background before you go. No toilets.

The lodge is tucked away on the outskirts of Rushden and if old architecture is one of your interests, its well worth a visit. The lodge is signposted but not the easiest to find. English Heritage have staff there that are helpful and full of knowledge. We were fortunate enough to be the only visitors on site at the time which made exploring & photography a pleasure. Its not a vast building - we spent about 1 hour there

Lovely place to visit and very unique architecture and design on show. Well kept grounds but limited facilities on site.
Keep in mind this place is not open year round so please check that it is open before travelling

There is so much more to this than what first meets the eye. There is so much intricate detail and symbolism hidden within the building. Make sure you read the information available about the lodge either before or during your visit and ask the staff on site about the lodge so you can fully appreciate what you are looking at. The closer you look, the more you see...
