If you are visiting pendle or around the area its worth a stop off and getting some pictures. Its a great statue and well made. Love the colour it has gone due to the weathering.

Magnificent statue to a lady sadly murdered by the state. I found it poignant that she had been given fresh flowers. The statue itself is truly beautiful and the story so profoundly sad. I think it to be a landmark of sociological importance and it’s definitely worth visiting.

It's basically a statue of one of the Pendle witches. Which is literally located on the side of a road not really near Pendle Hill or one of the popular walks/hikes.

If you're in the area and really into Pendle and the history of the witches then I'm sure this is your thing! However, for myself and co. It just didn't really do anything for us.

But saying that it was a really nice statue

Very sad to learn that 9000000 women died across europe on the witch hunt

Visited as my distant family came from this area and had the surname Nutter. Lovely village

A well done and respectful statue in memory of Alice Nutter. Nothing else around.

Reading this from America, Santa Fe. With tears in my eyes I remember all I have studied about her, my hope is that her passing was swift and she felt no agony..... My grandmother was a Nutter, and family from this region, immigrated to America.
