Great outdoors place for the family. Plenty of animals to see and interact with. Lovely stroll round the site and great activities throughout the day. Good greeting at the reception area and staff are all happy to help and inform.

I have been taking my grandchildren to this farm park for several years now and they both love it. The staff are always friendly and helpful and everywhere is clean. My grandson, who is now 6 has been coming since he was a toddler and still enjoys the indoor play barn and taking part in cuddle corner and this week he was able to hold a chick, which was adorable. My granddaughter is now 3 and has been coming since she was a baby and also loves to see all the animals and play on the inflatable pillows and play barn. The cafe always has lots of choice and is value for money.

A great little days outing! Arrived dead on 10am when the park opens. It's great that it wasn't super busy, I'd recommend buying 4 bags of food (at £1 each) as the goats are particularly greedy! Plenty of animals that are ready to greet you eagerly providing you've got a bag of food. The small activities they have around the park are a bonus! Plenty of fresh air and a great walk around, can't wait to come back again!!

I would definitely recommend Windmill Farm Park for a day trip out. The online booking system was easy to access and use. Staff were very pleasant upon our arrival and made sure we had all the information we needed to make the most of our trip.
The Farm Park was well organised with lots of picnic areas under cover. Food and drinks available in the indoor cafe area looked good.
All the animals looked healthy and well cared for, there were plenty different types to watch and talk about. The tractor ride was great fun and informative with regards to the crops, animals and windmill restoration.
The animal based activities were good, engaged children well and gave them a better understanding of the care of animals and what animals provide for people.
Windmill Farm Park is on the must revisit list, many thanks to all the staff involved in making our day out a pleasurable and memorable one.

Visited lots of farms in Leicestershire but I think this might be our favourite! All of the animals are amazing but the pygmy goats are especially adorable. The staff were lovely and friendly and all the facilities were very clean. Good accessibility too. The food was a little overpriced but really quick service.
The indoor play area is just brilliant. Never got to try the outdoor one as it was freezing but it looked like fun. We also loved the addition the woodland walk. Will be back! 😊

We had the most wonderful time again at Windmill Farm Park today. It’s such an enjoyable day out for the whole family with super friendly staff and the food was exceptionally good. I’ve had to become dairy free this year and the dairy free milkshake was the creamiest and yummiest thing I’ve been able to have in ages!!

A really lovely farm, kept my 5 year old entertained for over 5 hours, and he didn't want to leave! The indoor play was compact, but they have managed to fit a lot into a small space - pros are that there's lots to do, cons are that most of it is too small for an adult to get into so when a child gets stuck it's very hard to help them! Outside the play area is nice and well kept. Not much litter, things in good working order. There is a water play area which is nice, a slide and swing, plus air filled 'pillows' a lot like a big bouncy castle and they were fab! The tractor ride was free, and lasted about 10 minutes, and the commentary was interesting. Because there were no tickets to purchase you had to stand and queue, but most of the kids coped well, and there was a big hill to climb whilst they waited! The ice cream was lovely, but very expensive, £2.50 for a small scoop! There were no lollies or pops for the kids apart from some blackcurrant Callippo type lollies which was disappointing. I'm not one to spend £2.50 for a small scoop on my 5 year old, it would be wasted on him and he'd probably drop it anyway. The animals are well cared for, as you'd expect from a working farm, with some interesting breeds. There is a map, and a list of activities, but the activities aren't listed on the map, and no locations are given so it was a bit tricky finding out where to go for things. The cafe staff didn't know about the outside area, but there was a farmer nearby and she was very helpful. All the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Happy to return again!
