A great spot. Ancient standing circle, Robin Hood's Stride. An old cave I forget the name of a good spot to drop by on walks in the area.

Great bouldering for all grade ranges with some nice low height stuff for beginners.

Great tranquil area for a walk. If climbing lovely little outcrop of boulders. Very easy walk in

Amazing views. Access the top by following the limestone way until the path-junction at the top of the hill near Robin Hood stride. Then double back along the ridge, through the wood, and then enjoy the view!!

Hermit's Cave at Cratcliffe Tor
Hermit would lead travellers to safety off from the ancient Portway Trail.
Cave features a long stone platform where it is said that he slept, an alcove carved out for his candle to sit and a 4 foot etched crucifix on the cave wall dating back to the 14th century

Extensive area of rocks and woodland on a ridge with some good views. There is plenty to explore here, especially with children, and a hermits cave ... thought I never did find it! It's a steepish walk up from the Cratcliffe parking area and you can also visit Robin Hood's Stride on the same walk

Really enchanting for a sunrise experience. I highly recommend waking up a little earlier than usual -- you'll have the whole place to yourself (and the dew on the meadow walk up will make you feel like you're in a fairytale).

Its only a 15-20 minute walk up to the top of the cliffs from the carpark. Make sure that you go left at the top of the hill to avoid entering someone's private home.
