You will do a lot of waiting in queues whilst your young person runs around between listless and mono-dimensional 'rides'. However, it will definitely wear your young ones out due to size of the area.

Be prepared to shell out £45 for a family of 4 for entry here. We visited on a Saturday morning (we rebooked due to weather) the rebooking system is poorly explained and circular. Upon entry the staff were friendly and happy and great with the children. 3 ways to get up to the area (stairs, lift, escalator) the whole place was clean, spacious and looked great. HOWEVER. It comprises of 3 main area seperated by theme (paw patrol, TMNT, Spongebob)
The 'rides' look fantastic, but actually are very limited and not interactive. They are static and the 5 paw patrol rides do nothing except have steering wheel and a few (random) lit up buttons. The look out tower was good though and much enjoyed. 4D cinema was fun, although a bit scary for the younger ones. We did not wait, however others said they did. Minimum height of 90cm for most things, however over 120cm to ride the carts by yourself. The spongebob boat-karts were good, however, you will NOT have a comfortable few minutes if you are an above average size human. Soft play was ok, the other activities/rides were OK, but really 1 dimensional. If you want your charge to meet a character... Start queueing at least 15 minutes before the time... Otherwise you will wait >30 minutes. There is a coffee shop (phew). Each photo costs a tenner at the shop upon exit.

Style over substance. Don't bother unless your young charges LOVE all 3 cartoons.

The kids loved it

We took our 4 kids , age 9, 6 ,3 years and baby of 10 weeks

The only issue we had was in the gift shop , we only had cash on us and they only take cards. :(

Also parking is stress point especially with young kids , it was our first ever visit to lakeside from Milton Keynes.

Nice indoor place for kids which is split into 3 themed areas... Paw Patrol, Ninja Turtles and Sponge Bob. Some fun activities including a 3D cinema which should keep the kids busy for about 2 to 3 hours. I think it's fine for kids aged 3 to 7 with a highlight of meeting one or two of their favorite characters. We went on a Saturday morning and it wasn't that busy with the cost for two adults and two kids coming to £37 which I felt reasonable for what you get.

Good place to take the kids if they're into Paw Patrol / Sponge Bob / Ninja Turtles. Tickets can be purchased in advanced.
There are some small children friendly rides and even a 4D cinema. The cafe has a ok selection of food, plenty of quick snack for sale - they're also sell Starbucks coffee.
Highlight for my children was having the opportunity to meet Chase from Paw Patrol.

Took my 4y/o and it was disappointing. As most kids her age she LOVES paw patrol. We were on one of the rides and spotted the queue for meet and greet. We headed straight for it as Chase is her favorite, only to see he had gone! We checked times and it says they're only out for 10 mins?! The size of the queue there was no way we'd see him before time ran out. I went and spoke to reception and asked if we could return just for the next meet and greet as it was hours between and they said no. My daughter has now been sulking for days and even sulking to her grandparents about it. Thanks Nickelodeon, I'd rather we never went to avoid seeing the disappointed look on my daughter's face, days after. Other than that some activity games were broken or 'not available'. Just glad we didn't pay full price because it would've been a waste of money. Shame it would be amazing if you put more effort into the meet and greets which is why we went.

The kids really enjoyed meeting the characters ( Skype and Raph) and the small rides. The 4 year old and 11 year old randomly enough enjoyed and spent hours playing, exploring. The 4d film was good. Would definitely recommend for the younger children. Nickelodeon adventure is split into 3 sections all linked together

Went for my 5year olds birthday. She is 120cms. You need to be this height to go your own the boats, ninja and to sit on your own in the 4d cinema. We booked for 1pm. 3 hours there was enough time to do everything at least once. We parked, for free, in the Lakeside carpark. Would highly recommend a visit.

Place is great for kids! Cafe staff are slow and useless. Staff are strict and boring around the venue. Not ideal leaving chemical spray in the kids area for them to play with. No staff around to even tell. But hey, the kids loved the place to be fair.
