Not entirely sure if I’m commenting on the right service provider.
My partner and I visited Canterbury spontaneously in October without realising it was not tourist season. I wanted to see the river banks covered in flowers but the greenery was just as wonderful.
The tour was very fun and enjoyable. Nice and pleasant conversations. Blankets provided. I could honestly spent all day on the river just for the view and the wind.

I was dubious going on as a solo traveller but so glad I did! It was a really lovely experience & I actually came away learning a few things about the Cathedral, Marlowe Theatre etc... It was £15 which I thought a little pricey for approx 45 mins but it was worth it. Hats off to the guy rowing our full boat of 12!

Fun tour with a funny guide - definitely recommended to learn more about the history of the city and see it and its historic buildings from new angles. Area covered is quite small, but considering it’s a hand-propelled boat - well understandable :)

Our family group of 8 booked in advance and had exclusive occupancy of the boat. Our oarsman (Zeus - the one with the muscles!) was an excellent, extremely knowledgeable guide. Well worth 45 minutes of your day!

Short but sweet! Got a discount from a fellow working the center of town. Tucked in an ally, next to a bridge, the access was easy and the cafe associated with the floats has food and drinks. We took a cheese board and rose lemonade with us on the float. The guy manning the float was informed and hilarious. 😆 Take a walk over the bridge and you'll find a nice park to relax and contemplate.

Took this tour on 14/08/22.

Honestly, expected much better than what we got.
The scope of the tour is very limited. It goes to a side for ~10’ till the small statue, returns and then another 10-15’ to the other side till the small barrage and returns.
Have been to much better tours, so felt like a waste of time and £s.

The 3 ⭐️ are only for Dan (our ‘Captain’). He was the only fun aspect of the tour, otherwise the tour was pretty nominal, can be definitely avoided.

This was the most delightful part of my trip to Canterbury and perhaps all England! The punter was so friendly and gave an informative and entertaining tour. Not even joking - I feel like I learned more on this tour than I did in my high school history and English classes! :) I can’t recommend this enough!

Fantastic tour! Our guide was very informative, polite, helpful, and funny. We got a lot of historical information about the river and surrounding areas. Our guide had a smooth charm that made it very enjoyable. Riding in the boat was very relaxing, and the view was amazing. I can't recommend these guys enough, I would do this tour again!
