Chester City Sight-seeing Tour Bus

Just had the most lovely driver on my bus to the train station, so helpful, pleasant and kind. He is definitely an asset to your company 5* my bus was the 4.10ish I think.

Great to get around, bus was late one day though and no one to contact to find out where it is.

I went for a tour of Chester on the open Bus, no parking, the bus was a double decker, as you went through Chester, a tape played the points of interest, as you passed them. There are various rates of ticket for the tour and also a combined rate for bus/boat. Reasonably priced. Its around 45 mins for the tour on the bus. Well worth a ride. Be careful of tree branches near goves road.

Nice open top bus tour round the fabulous historic Chester City Center. Lasts about 1 hour non stop the full tour. You can hop on and off about 6 stops.

You can also opt for a 30 minutes river cruise which I did separately but you can save £1 if you book both together. Helps if the weather is nice which fortunately was when I did the tour.

Online recorded commentary describes the city’s history in including the Roman times. So no headphones needed.

If your in Chester and have a spare hour then this definitely gets my top recommendation. At the time of this review the cost was £12.50, which I think is good value as it lasts for a full 24 hours.

Probably the best way to see Chester if your only there for a couple of days, good value for money as you can hop on and hop off for 24hours and the full circuit is only an hour with full information on the way around 👍

Bus and boat trip, had a lovely time. Buses can be delayed because of traffic, so make sure you give extra time to your journeys. Staff friendly and helpful on bus and boat.
