I feel awful saying this but I was expecting a lot better. Definitely not somewhere to go if you're wanting a family day out. The animals were lovely, and I particularly enjoyed the reptile room. Despite asking about holding a tarantula, which is mentioned on their website, the lady said that she's never let anyone hold one before. I was able to stroke a snake though!

The little cafe shack only had one gluten free option, which was beans on gluten free toast. Although there was an option, we were surprised that there wasn't anything else such as crisps etc. However, there was pizza and other meals for those that can eat normally.

Very Enjoyable place for the family especially children. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Found it a little bit difficult to find first time round and caution must be taken on approach to the farm as its a single lane farm road with a few hairpins. On the whole I would definitely recommend.

A great day out. The children loved seeing the animals and the animal handling sessions. Peter was brilliant and very helpful, telling us a lot about the animals. The play area is really nice and my children did not want to leave! The cafe served a very nice pizza and cake. We will definitely be back again!

A rainy day, not busy but a great day for us. A very friendly place, people are wonderful, helping the kids with their interest in the animals. A relaxed and lovely day.

What a little gem
The chance to hold and pet a variety of animals as well as feed a few breeds with the reasonable purchase of 50p a bag
Cute little cafe for snacks if you didn't bring a packed lunch
Great for kids to run about and see lots of much loved and cared for animals

The kids really enjoyed it here, it was really well decorated for Halloween and there were craft activities. Staff were very friendly and the children got the opportunity to hold the rabbits and feed lots of the animals. They loved the little tractors they could drive around on and the play houses. It was clean with good toilet facilities. The only thing that we felt let it down was the cafe , which is more of a takeaway hut with not very much choice and over priced for what you get. Best to take your own food I would say, but nice to get a coffee at least.

Great place to take the whole family for all ages. Has food to buy from reception that you can take around to feed all the animals. Great hygiene places to wash your hands after touching the animals. Play area is wide and open with benches near for the adults to sit bear there kids as they have fun in the play area. The walk around the place is flat and is covered in grass that is soft. The cafe provides a wide variety of drinks, healthy snacks, ice cream and bakes. There is always something for kids to do and is also great for teenagers that love animals. There isn't only farm animals, there is also a reptile room and bunnies and guinea pigs. Really recommend to go, it's worth it!
