It's the first time I tried the air cable car and found it very interesting. The view of London is very nice. One way trip might be too short. It will be over in less than 10 minutes. A few tips if you are planning to try the cab. The location is a bit outside the city. It's better to get the Uber Thames River service. This will give a view from the Thames River also. If you have got a 7days travel card mention that if booking tickets at the venue to get some discounts.

IMHO I don't think it's worth waiting. We spent more than one hour in the queue. And 5 quid for 5 min ride I'm not sure if it was worth it.
And yes the view was really nice and enjoyable hut if you really want to ride it i recommend you to choose early hours to avoid queues.
Cheers

The experience is truly beautiful and the price is quite convenient too; we paid 12 pounds per person to go and come back. The trip lasts 10 minutes in total.
Unfortunately, our experience going on a weekend was terrible. We waited for 50 minutes one way, and for 90 minutes the other way. This was too much. Only one group is allowed per wagon. If they allowed more than one group, it would be much faster, and I wouldn't mind travelling with more people.

Was a really fun experience and is there's a really good view. We went when it was pretty hot outside but inside the heat wasn't amplified massively making it a good experience.

Would reccomend using contactless or oyster card instead of going to ticket box to save some time.

Good tourist attraction if you're near the Excel

It was fun, nice view, queue wasn’t too long, got our own family cabin. Price affordable, you can use your “touch” card (debit/credit) or buy a ticket. Took about 10 minutes to cross over, nice to try it. Kids loved it.

A nice few minutes ride. Less than 10 minutes one way. You get a very good view of the thames and also see the O2. Plus many buildings as well. Its priced high for what it offers. Should be around 3/4 pound one way and 6/7 pound return.
Anyways, it was a good experience. But the price couldn’t be justified. We went on a weekday and did not even have to wait for a second as it was absolutely clear of people. So please do not buy fast track tickets as its never crowded and multiple cabins arrive every 30 seconds. But better to buy tickets in advance as you can skip the only 1 counter open for tickets and go straight to the cable cars.

Fun experience with great views across the Thames and London.

Not particularly cheap, but worth it for the views. Plenty to explore a both ends including ExCeL and the O2. Lots of food and drink options at both.

Tickets can be purchased at either end. The whole ride is quite short but there can be a wait to board (seemed to be one party per car - possibly still a hangover from COVID). We queued for about 15 mins at the weekend.

The Cable Cars / Emirates Air Lines is. wonderful way to view London from above. I believe the ticket was $6. It was a rainy day in London, NO que... I was excited by that, I walked up and got on. Even in the lite rain, you couldn't feel the capsule moving. It was a quick fun ride.
