This is less touristic than the cathedral and in my view the city doesn’t do it justice. It is sitting between to roads with heavy traffic and we missed it and had to go back as we did not expect it to be between two roads. We walked on the bridge which was epic knowing it was built a few centuries back.

Historically interesting with information boards dotted around the edge of the site. Otherwise a bit underwhelming. You can walk across it should you feel the need. Unfortunately there is not alot to see. Rough sleepers use the arches to sleep so the site was strewn with thier detritus. Bottles, cans, old tents etc. Stick to the view from outside the site

On the map it is considered as tourist attraction. But actually, that beautiful bridge is abandoned by local council. It looks very miserable and occupied by numerous homeless people. Smells awful as well. I am pretty sure that many years ago it was a gorgeous bridge full of glory. It should be put into conservation and maintained well instead of being left rotten.

Very sad. Smells bad and the homeless are moving in

Absolutely fascinating old bridge, set in parkland (they must have diverted the river). It had a church either end, apparently, and one could see the remains of one of the churches. You could walk along it - we did - and look back along its length....
