Not been here before but it was a nice place to take a walk and see the quay. Lots of cafe bars to choose and we enjoyed a coffee and people watching. Worth a visit

Beautiful and Serene Waterfront. Lovely for a nice day out with the family. Plenty of options and choices for food and drinks!
There is a chain gate that keeps people from falling in so I would strongly suggest younger kids are kept hand in hand and unless your pets like to swim...keep them on a leash!!!

We stayed in a Penthouse with Amazing Views!

Lovely spot, especially love Kult for a drink or a coffee although not open every evening. Perfect for a late afternoon/ evening stroll. September is best because when footy is on its quiet and all the boats are back in marina as sun sets.

Ipswich waterfront is a wonderful place and very beautiful. There are a lot of restaurants (book in advance on public holidays or if you are with the big group of people). Very unique waterfront to visit and explore. Pretty safe to walk at nights too. Personally enjoyed the walks and you can even go on a boat trip, to explore further.

The Marina is a great walk, especially during the summer. The Marina has a variety of food, bars and cafés to choose from as well as seating. The Marina has a chain link fence around it to prevent people falling in however small children will have to be watched near it.

Nice walk through Marina. Lots of little coffee shops and brunch places. Options to park near buy, to eat on a boat or go for a little tour by boat. Benches on a way, so easily can sit down and enjoy the view. Nice and tidy. You walk through university too. They have lively, cosy coffee place too. Not much to do with a kids, unless they like boats. You could go to the museum on the water front, however, it has been gone for few months now.

We were there on what has been the hottest day of the year, the waterfront was very busy. There are quite a few eateries along the front or close by to it. Not being able to find an outlet to a particular taste would be fairly difficult I would imagine. With the marina providing the backdrop to the front, the was a great variety of boats to capture ones attention. Worth a visit but in these Covid - times it may be worth booking - ahead, or being prepared to queue.
