It's a bit of a seating area off the prom at Parkgate. There's some seats bequeathed by various interesting persons, some information boards about Donkey Stand and Parkgate. On a sunny day it's a luverly place to sit with a view across the salt marshes to North Wales. Just across the busy road there are two ice cream shops (very difficult to choose, try both) and a rather nice tea shop. There's a chippy just a bit further down the road. Donkey Stand is a great place to sit and watch the world go by.

A handy place to sit to consume the ice cream. Also a good spot for birdwatching as there is loads of birds on the marsh.

Convenient place to chill with mates after a bike ride, when it's sunny, and even better when one of my mates has a hat I can throw off the edge, then watch them retrieve it 🤫
