Roald Dahl - The Enormous Crocodile

It may be wasted on me as I pass by this all the time, but it is a lovely memorial to Roald Dahl which kids love seeing and playing on or around.

Crocodile landmark. Great for kids to visit and have a walk or sit on. Lovely views of Cardiff Bay and next to a couple of children’s parks and open space to have a sit and admire the views. Not accessible by car but well worth the walk to see it.

Plenty of restaurants and cafes, great kids play area with a skateboard/scooter park. Cycle/tandem/tricycle hire .great manmade beach in summer. Watch the bridge raise for boats in the lock to come and go. And the aqua park from July to 22nd September, with limited age from 8.

The Enormous Crocodile was smiling benignly as 2 children climbed upon its neck. When I next looked, the bigger lad was running frantically towards his parents. The crocodile's grin seemed to have widened.

Absolutely fabulous day out my 4year old did 13000 steps and didn't complain once as there was so much to do on the hunt for the enormous crocodile. Definitely worth a visit if your little likes the book.
