travelled all the way from bromsgrove for 2 hours just to see this beautiful location and it did not disappoint! Absolutely awestruck by the beauty of the landscape and and the fresh scent of the ocean. Would definitely recommend to go, from whatever part of the world you are in.

Lovely little stoney beach, to have a quiet walk and enjoy the views, not the best place to go with kids looking for sand

This is not a sandcastles and paddling in the sea kind of beach. It's a storm overflow, silty, surrounded by heavy industry kind of beach.

Penarth is a better idea if you're looking for a nice beach.

2 stars instead of 1 because it looks like people have been working to clean up the rubbish on the beach.

Some of the reviews here must be fake.
I work around this area and decided to take a stroll down to this beach with a coffee one afternoon.
Stank of water works (methane/sewage) plus the Pikeys were burning rubber tyres somewhere near by probably to salvage the metal.
There's also alot of through traffic near by and metal industries making the air quality generally terrible.
Alot of trash on the rocky beach too.
Avoid.

Went here as it seemed to be a place where we could see some nice views and a good experience, however....... dirty, brown water along with the smell of sewage. We passed a few obvious bonfire spots where people had fires. Disapointed. Next.......

What an amazing place. Limited spaces for parking. Great place to have a bbq. Looks like they had lots on my day off visit. There was a funny smell in the air.. thank you for 1 the best beaches I've not stayed on.

To call this place a tourist attraction, or even a beach, is stretching things.
However, it is a fascinating place if you like mud, and the ruins and remains of old industry.
Wear wellies and watch out for quicksand.

You gotta catch it on a good day... I'd keep the photos to myself but I hear its at risk of development so more people to enjoy it can only be a good thing. There's a lot of history washed up on this beach for those that can be bothered to stray off the beaten track.
