If you are in the area it's worth devoting an hour or two to have walk from the nearby beach. Not difficult. Definitely not worth visiting as the main spot of your trip.

Stunning scenery, short easy walk from car park. If you have small children beware of the steep cliffs.

Drive to the carpark by the harbour. It is free although not too big. The toilets were closed at the time of our visit.
Pass the harbour and go through the gates towards the left. Walk a short distance to the kissing gates, then follow the path up the cliff. Just follow the poles with the white tips and after a 20 minute easy walk, you will find the stacks.
If you want, you can carry on on the path which leads down to the shore.
It is a fairly quiet place, you can chill and watch as the sun goes down. Had an amazing time here.

Gorgeous walk with amazing views. Small pebbled beach near the end of our walk which the dog definitely enjoyed. The walk is steep to start but flattens very quickly.

An interesting rock formation that has been sculpted by the sea with towering mountains surrounding it. An easy 20 - 30 minute walk from the beach carpark at Trefor or if you want a challenge park up at the top of Nant Gwrtheyrn for the dramatic views down, it's tough going back up though. Great to watch a sunset, photograph golden hour or the milky way core during the right season. Plenty of wildlife around so good to take binoculars with you.

Definitely worth a trip for the sunsets . Just watch out for the moody cows

Great walk up from Trefor Car Park. We saw the stacks then carried on till we came to some metal steps down to the beach.
