Such an amazing place and such a lovely hiking trek. I enjoyed the walk up the mountain and the descend also . The weather was superb and the views were elegant. There was a couple of different paths up the mountain . However, we chose to walk up the Llanberis path which for beginners like me was the best route to get started off on journeys such as this .

Watkin route was definitely enjoyable and quite a scramble on the last bit (it's one of the hardest routes). They have an amazing looking cafe at the top, but closed at the moment. If you're in the area I would absolutely recommend the hike up and down (around 5 to 6 hours in total)

This hike is not for the faint of heart especially if you want to reach the top. Best of luck since that is a cardio trip for you.

Don't let the pictures fool you either, the fog isn't always that thick. That's what I hear.

A great walk up the mountain. Very achievable if you're relatively fit. Good hiking footwear is a must. Weather is very changeable so make sure you have layers and something waterproof.

The highest peak in Wales, its one for the bucket list, and doesn't disappoint... Nice easy foot path all the way to the top, train ride also available if you don't fancy the walk

Very exhausting and (painful on the legs and feet) climb and descent of the mountain, especially for my 10 year old, but very worth it. Spectacular views you can't get anywhere else, and a great sense of achievement once you've done it!

One of the most spectacular walks and views in all the world. For those with disabilities you can get a train to the summit. Caution, very often Snowden is cold, windy, and in cloud. There are several walks to the top and the most popular ones can be like Oxford Street in the summer. Get there early at weekends otherwise parking at the bottom can be a real challenge.

Always great to be here. Easy walk to the top. Luckily train doesn't operate in winter so not too many humans. A bit icy on top in December. Lovely ice sculptures can be observed with water running underneath. Can be windy and slippery but we'll worth an effort
