Relaxed family orientated attraction. Very reasonably priced. The birds are well cared for. Look out especially for your special 'Hello' at entrance. There are only 2 things missing, a cafe and decent toilets, but I'm sure these will be seen to once all upgrades to bird enclosures are finished, they after all are the priority. The flying displays are not to be missed.

Awesome place to see all the birds of prey and even see some in action

Took my family for a trip, expecting to be here a few hours. £16 entrance fees and we were there 45 mins maximum. I saw 1 member of staff the whole time we were there. The overall appearance was run down but easily accessible for people to walk around and suitable for pushchairs and wheel chairs. Very few signage on the cages so little information about the birds and why they were there. We're they rescue or breeding? Breed of bird? They had about 3/4 different breeds of owl, couldn't tell you what they were called though. The cages appeared too small for the birds and we saw about 3 different species trying to fly, but just hitting the fencing instead. The cages were filthy and some of the cages reminded me of prison cells. There was a sign saying they were like this to give them the feeling of natural habitat.. their natural habitat isn't a small enclosure sadly. There is a park on site, however on further inspection it was unsafe and rickety so we quickly moved away from the area, much to the disappointment of the children. We didn't stay for the display, as by that point we were utterly disappointed with our trip that had taken over an hour to get too. No food or drink beverages on site at all, but there is a small gift shop. Needless to say we won't be returning here again.

Some really beautiful birds here. My 10 year old son loved flying the Harris hawk and the handler has an obvious passion for his birds, many of which he has bred himself. Some of the enclosures could do with a bit of tlc and some were not labelled. Reasonable entrance fee and lovely staff. Could do with a cafe but we went in a motorhome so popped out for a cuppa and to warm up while waiting for the next flying display. Overall a nice place to visit for a few hours, especially if you like birds of prey .

Very nice for a short (1-2 hour) visit. Great falconry displays by an enthusiastic falconer. Would be nice if there were a few more signs on some of the bird cages though.

Really needs updating, although birds seem well cared for

Visited today and am impressed by all the amazing creatures. Staff was absolutely wonderful and despite having an emergency so being unable to do the full display, the falconer went out of his way to still display some of the birds and educate us. He obviously cares very much about the wellbeing of his birds and it was lovely to be able to have an insight in the training and well keeping of the animals, rather than a full show. Had a wonderful afternoon out!

What a gem of a place! I've lived less than 10 minute drive away for my entire life and had never been until yesterday. Fantastic assortment of birds, great display and they even let an owl land on the kids. there's also a little play area.
