Love this place. We canoed up from cilgeran this visit and tied the canoe up while we got a cup of tea and a flapjack from the visitor center 👌.
I walked around it before and it's a great walk. Beautiful on a nice day. Not too busy whenever I've been.

Beautiful place to visit. Plenty of walks both easy going and slightly harder. We did the gorge walk which was quite steep in some places but well worth the effort.
You can take your dog just remember to keep on the lead as this is a wildlife area. Stunning scenery, the cafe did lovely coffee, cakes and ice creams. A few pounds to park and then the day is yours to just wander and take in the views and wildlife

Didn't find this location that great and seemed to be missing something.
Wandered from the carpark to the centre then followed the path to the river where there were some wadding birds.
Followed the path through an overgrown path only to find ourselves back in the carpark.
Returned to the centre for a cuppa and scratched our head wondering if we had miss a Path of something.
On return to the carpark we noticed the longer walk that we should have done, but by this time we couldn't be bothered.
It's a shame that the two areas are not joined together and that you had to go to the visitor center as the start and end of the trail.
What's the point about this centre apart from toilets, shop and the cafe.
Carpark is very small and I didn't see the overflow carpark sign until returning to the carpark before leaving.
It's a shame as I had high hopes for this visit with the long entrance road it just seemed disappointing 😞

Had a nice walk but found the displays to be infrequent and underwhelming. Had a bad latte. Overall kind of a waste of time.

Overall beautiful views. Lovely place for a walk. Different trails available with various accessibility levels. The centre has a little shop and a café on site. Toilets are available. Parking is £4 for the day.

Apart from picking the week the cafe/toilets/shop was closed we enjoyed our walk around the area. Stopped in hide when rain commenced and saw a beautiful Kingfisher several time, along with the Heron. Further up the river bank we spotted Curlew over the other side of the gorge. Buffalo, yes, Water Buffalo are in the marsh area, could see two when stood in the bench in the Otter hide, no Otters unfortunately in this day. Plenty of wading birds along the tidal flats.

Meet friends here and went for a little walk around. £4 each to park. Short Walk to the view point and child enjoyed kids play area. Gift store small. Smaller centre then expected.

Lovely place to visit, toddler friendly walks with amazing views. We had lunch in the cafe which was excellent and reasonablly priced. Our toddler loved the playground, especially the slides. We have booked to come back to the area and when we do we are sure to come back the wildlife centre as we only scratched the surface of it
