Colchester Visitor Information Centre

Excellent service. The staff gave us a great explanation of what we could see in a day while there.

Helpful staff. Didn't go to the museum, but the gardens of the castle are great, particularly in the summer!

Lots of leaflets that let you know of events that are happening around Colchester and also places of interest, maps, etc. The shop is lovely, selling souvenirs of Colchester and it's surrounding areas (e.g. Wivenhoe, Tiptree, Mersea, etc). They even sell travel size Tiptree jams and decorative magnets among other gift and souvenir ideas. The staff is very helpful and welcoming.
