First time it was quiet good place. Preferred for picknick or just walk. I have to write about this place if i just use some words: take a walk, walk with dogs, cycling, follow trails, just hanging around in tha nature, there is a good playground, big field, bbq place, water tap, cofee, front and rear parking place. If you see the lots of cars and there is no people everybody just enjoy the nature somewhere... 😁🤗👍

Good base to explore the Chase Forest. Good for walkers, families with young kids and cyclists alike. Loos and a shop with trail guides and snacks/drinks. Cheap parking £1 for 3hrs or less. £2 anytime over (until 6pm). Coins only. Recommend the RAF Hendesford Trail (leaflet 30p) 👍

Excellent place for all. Scenic views, great for family walks and picnics, amazing nature and brilliant services including a more than decent cafe serving hot food and drinks with toilet facilities etc!

It's the first time that I have visited Cannock Chase, and I enjoyed the day, but it's a confusing place to go if you've never been there before. The maps and apps all seem to have only walks for a minimum of 4 miles, plus, but as I found out that are a lot of paths around, so a shorter walk is more than possible. The staff at the Visitors centre were accommodating, and you could get a delicious cuppa tea. But on the notice boards outside, it was useless again to try and figure out a route, so I went back to the Mobile Phone apps and got back on track with some good walking through a nice peaceful wooded area, and I intend to go again soon. Highly recommend.

Not a bad spot to explore Cannock Chase. The parking is cheaper than Birches Valley and some free parking is still available. There's a small visitors centre, cafe and decent children's play ground. From here you can head west back across the main road and explore Brindley Heath or head north east over into the end of Birches Valley to find the pools. You can also pick up the cycling trails from here.

Kind friendly staff. A little cold and little choice of food but as a drop in for a coffee and a snack it's great. Staff were really lovely and it was very clean. I did park run so just what I needed. Very clean toilets on site too.

free parking, refreshments available. Small park suitable for younger children. There is a simple circular walk along with other longer walks into the chase including fairy pools which is a nice walk. Always busy but big enough that it doesn't feel busy.

Parked here for an afternoon of walking on the chase. Cheap for the ticket. Cafe and toilets available at the visitor centre. Also a nice playground for kids.
