Great place to walk your dog on a Sunday not too busy don't really have to play dodge cyclists which is nice . There is a small cafe there where you can buy tea coffee and best tasting cheese burgers lol but it will be closed soon till the council find a new person to run it. So good chance on Feb 2017 there won't be anyone there which is a shame.

It is a lovely park to walk in with a variety of sites. The birds are plentiful. The reed cleansing ponds are fascinating. Certainly worth a visit.

We go regular. Turning to the park is easily passed so keep a sharp eye out. Gorgeous gentle walk around both lakes. Cafe with very friendly staff. Lots of information boards about trees and birds and the mine. If you want a more vigorous walk there are plenty to choose from

Lovely walk around the lake and cascades. There's free parking and the guy in the little tea hut by the lake was really nice, friendly and helpful. Even though it was a bit rainy and cold when I went I enjoyed this gem of a place.

Lake is a lovely clean area of Treharris. There is ample parking and a little spot to get drinking chocolate or tea and some food for the ducks. You will see plenty of dog walkers, fishers, kiddos feeding the birds and cyclists too.
It’s great to go for a run or a stroll. There is such a lot of wildlife to see, and the colours are wonderful in the autumn time.

Beautiful Lakes 😍 We enjoyed the smooth walk around and will be back to explore more of the walks 🚶‍♂️ may bring the bike next time.

So many birds 🐦 the whole family can enjoy feeding them getting the duck food from the cafe, we brought a picnic and the picnic table on site made it perfect, there is plenty of them too. 😀

They have canoeing there with good places to get in, not too much fishing going on while we were there. Going to ask more next time about these.

Great family day out for all fitness levels!!!
