Western Towing

I contacted Western Towing as I needed a spare wheel with a slightly unusual sized stud pattern on my trailer.
They were brilliant. I can now tow reassured that I have a spare that fits perfectly.
They were easy to contact got back to me quickly sorted my order promptly. All arrived n next day.
They gave me great advice, incredibly patient, very friendly. Got a few other bits whilst I was at it. Thx Western Towing will definitely use again.

Had an issue on the way to our holiday where we had to remove a wheel from our trailer and run it on 3. Western towing couldn’t help more when we turned up just as they opened. Friendly staff helped us by sorting us out the hub repair kit we required and even let us use their yard to fix it in. Would definitely recommend 5 star service

On Friday last we were just about to head home from a few days holiday in South Devon but on checking the driving lights on our caravan we discovered we had no power. Any attempt at the journey home would have meant breaking road traffic laws.
Calls to the company that installed our tow bar in March lead to some simple checks (fuses etc) but none of which resolved the problem. Any further intervention by the installation company meant waiting until the following Monday unless we got recovered.
Initial calls to the closest tow bar fitting company to us were met with an offer of an appointment into weeks but the suggestion to contact Western Towing (WT) Ltd, Newton Abbot was made.
The lady on the end of the call was sympathetic to our plight and felt sure that they could resolve the issue or if not find some other way of getting us home safely.
On our arrival, the WT engineer listened to our problem and conducted a thorough check of the recently installed tow bar system. He found power but none that would get our lights working. He also discovered some concerns about the original installation wiring and offered suitable advise in getting it rectified.
After half an hours inspection on what was clearly a very busy Friday afternoon for WT, the engineer discovered that the 'module' within the system had 'gone to sleep'. A number of disconnections and reconnections, checks and re-checks woke the module and restored power.
Thanks to all at WT who went out of their way to get us back on the road. Thanks to them it meant a delay of only four hours getting home. Without their assistance it may well have been a lot longer and considerably more expensive.
Any attempts to pay for their time and expertise was flatly refused.

Its okay. Prices are high. Shop has been changed around so you can't just browse alot of things that you used to be able to and Bly left. Shame.
