Platforms are fine. Ticket machines work well if used properly. Working NFC touch-in/touch-out machines. The ticket office is barely ever open, when it is customer service is OK. Old station, rather dirty but you won't be there very long anyway.

Very poor station overall if you ask me. None of the platforms have step free access, there is very little in terms of seating and shelter, the ticket office is open only during the early weekday mornings and there's only two trains an hour stopping.

I was fortunate enough not to smell the sewage works that's a stone's throw away from the platform.

cursed destination. wobbly platform. never fails to spark joy.

It's a good station point and you can buy you travel card from there

I dropped my AirPods case on the train track which was quiet stressful. But Daniel who was staff member working at the time was so reassuring and helpful and personally kept my case safe for me to collect the next day. Overwhelmed by how kid he was during what May have been an inconvenience.

Range of parade shops near the station - trains every half hour to Waterloo but lots of steps to platform level

The entrance is up a long uneven stair case with gaps between the steps where you can see the ground underneath.

Have passed this station several times, looks very poor for step free access. There is a very small shelter too
