22.07.2022 Very busy at 5.30pm! WH Smith empty but handy for magazines and drinks. Co-op opposite which has more selection, not many snacks but meal deals etc.
Need a ticket to get on to the platform. Very helpful staff in the Greater Anglia office.
Toilets are a bit gross, main door needs to made wider for people with luggage.
Have paid £12 for all-day parking but this was 5 years ago.
Starbucks, Upper Crust, Co-op, WH Smith, flower stall. Free bottle refills fountain near platform 2.

A pretty little station with connections to london and further around Norfolk. Has shops that stay open fairly late and open early, so it can be a good place to get a little shopping and it has free toilets! Which is always a blessing. Ample waiting areas too.

Quaint station with lovely connections and friendly staff who are good at recognising confused faces and were lovely in the help they offered during my short stints there. So great seeing the friendly faces.

Remarkably unchanged since my last visit over 56 years ago when l was twelve. Same platform layout, arched glass roofing and stone features. Sturdy and stable. You can add kiosks, refreshments and mini shops but still a nice spacious introduction to a beautiful city l should visit more often. It's expanded its cultural repertoire and it has embraced a more diverse citizenship post 20 th Century. I could easily consider moving from the big smoke to here.

When I last visited Norwich station the pandemic was in full swing so everybody was taking the necessary precautions. I was pleased to see that the local pigeons working in the station were following the social distancing guidelines set out by the government at that time.

The station is dreadfully cold which can't be helped as it's all open air like most railway stations.

Used to be good. Now it’s rubbish. M&S is closed. The pub is closed. Subway is open but there’s no way to get in. The comfortable seats from the lounge have been replaced with benches. There isn’t even a rubbish bin in the lounge now.

Awesome staff. Drivers start quick to warm up the train and plug sockets. Helpful when cold

As railway stations go its not massive but has everything you need, toilets, shops, places to get food etc. Signage is fairly clear and being at end of line the trains tend to go on time...!
