The station staff are always helpful when buying tickets not just to Cardiff but all UK destinations and always try to get the cheapest price tickets. Just a pity it seems to be only staffed in the mornings.

Trains on time, although sometimes they leave inconveniently earlier than the scheduled time. The place is quiet and clean.

Clean, sheltered seating. Bike rack. Trains every 15 mins to Cardiff central. No toilets. Part time manned ticket booth. Limited parking that is free. Departure boards. Wheelchair accessible. Very close to town. Taxi place and newsagent etc yards away. If you are going to penarth do so by train as there is a severe shortage of parking.

Just a quiet and small station in the town. Lucky enough to have a half hourly service, seating, shelter and step free access so I can't moan too much.

Haven't used this station in a while Last time I used it was when the Class 143 'Pacer' was coming to the end of its working life Very frequent trains here Happy to see that they have improved the service

Lovely day outing over from Cardiff was well rewarded. Short train ride from Cardiff Central and we landed very near several parks and the promenade. The city center had an abundance of local shops and eateries.
Last time I used it was when the Class 143 'Pacer' was coming to the end of its working life
Very frequent trains here
