This is my OWN HONEST REVIEW.
I arrived upstairs at the centre where I signed in and all was ok. Until I started my exam. There were people outside of the window on the ground floor who were playing out loud music on their phones, making phone calls and watching meme videos (bearing in mind exam centre is upstairs on the first floor). This did not allow me to concentrate at all. I had to lose a few minutes from my exam to go find a staff member to tell them about the issue. The staff just said we have told them many times to stay quiet so what we can do is close the window, so the room became like a sauna during the exam as there was also no air conditioning inside.
2) They also suggested I put on some of their old and flimsy headphones which Barely did anything to cancel out noise from outside. They should invest in a security officer to stay outside and move people away from the centre at the very minimum during morning and afternoon exam times.
3) the quality of the exam centre upstairs was poor and if you go there you will see exactly what I mean.
4) if you are paying hundreds of pounds for a course and to sit a exam, believe me this place will NOT LET YOU FOCUS OR CONCENTRATE AT ALL
5) you can hear people in the car park just sat in their cars making phone calls on loud speaker via their car Bluetooth.
I COMPLETELY DO NOT RECOMMEND. If you want to go against my review by all means feel free, I am simply writing this for those who are like me and need some peace and quiet when doing a exam. Best you find another local centre.
I went during a hot summer day, like 30C. There weren't Air conditioning.
The testing facilities is very dated and incredibly small. The reception is also quite strange. You feel like you have been teleported to a developing country.
My test had a technical error after it begin, which I need to call in the proctor to fix. I lost 15-20 mins of my 90 mins exam. ( that was the test not the centre error) They tried to help as much as possible.
In addition, some really strong body odors people came in the test room ( 30C, go figure) and towards the end made it very difficult to focus reading my questions.
I gave 3 star because I think they tried their best to fix my technical error on screen. but that facility can use some updates.
I did the same test at home. It failed due to Software problem. Trust me, despite all that trouble, doing the test at the test centre is much better than at home. At home, when you run into technical issue, you are totally helpless!
Oh, and with all the unexpected distractions + time loss, I passed my exam.
