Easy station layout this is the station for Excel and has a sheltered walkway from station to the Excel entrence.
There is a frequent service from here.
There is a lift giving step free access to and from the platforms.
This station is also closest to the sunborn boat hotel, Ibis hotel, and royal Victoria dock footbridge.

The new cross rail section has a plethora of design flaws, mainly the signage and too many points where you can’t see the timers. Real shame as that should be easy to get right, I mean if I can spot it instantly? Other than that it’s a good connection for city airport, it’s outdoors and feels clean with staff who seem to be happy.

Gliding along so beautifully on the first day of the Elizabeth line, that I'll excuse that the station has inadequate sheltering from the rain.

Easy change between DLR and Elisabeth line - Escalators and lifts available.

First time at this station on the Elizabeth line. Unlike many other stations on line, this is open to the elements so you might get wet if raining. I didn't find the signage to the exit obvious especially if you need a lift. At the barriers I needed to go to the toilet and found signs but could only find a disabled toilet which all there was. Getting out of the station to the Excel building was straightforward enough.

Beautiful and important station. New Elizabeth line

The touching out machine of DLR and the touching in machine of E Line is very far apart. That may mean you lost one train just because of this touching in and out process (otherwise your transport cost goes up enormously as penalty or just not able to get in). Unless you are a 60+ traveller after 9am, this limitation does not apply.

An Excellent station located in a failry nice area. Easy to naviagate around the station and the staff were friendy! The design of this station is brilliant and the exit leads you right up the excel exhibition centre in which they hold amaing events. I defintley would recommend a visit if you haven't been to this station yet!
