London City Airport is very well placed to take advantage of its location to the Financial District (on its doorstep) and the City itself. Promised investment needs to be used as it is getting less pleasant to use with generally outdated facilities for users. I came across a member of staff at the Airport who does deserve special mention.. His name badge indicated the name of MOHAN who was on the customer end of the Airport's business. A very nice guy, very willing to assist who broke the usual people stereotype of people who appear indifferent and are automatic programmed. Get the investment going in the Airport before the increasing airline business starts to swamp it's present very effective traveller transit. RG

Compact and not much to do. I would stay away from the Pilots restaurant as the food was pretty poor but the others have always been good if not a bit too expensive as they have a captive audience. Flights are generally on time and it doesn't take long to get in or out.
