Fresh Facilities Management will have supplied Silver X for over 4 years in September 2022. During these four years we have had many challenges, naturally including a small thing called a 'Pandemic'. What stands out for me is ,throughout this time, we have always had effective communication at all times with all departments Silver X.
Everyone in their team provides excellent face to face and effective People Skills, these combined skills are usually uncommon and especially within the logistics supply chain industry.
Keep up the great work you are doing and keep delivering excellence.👍

In the short time I have worked with this business it is a shame to say Silver X Transport has fallen below the expected service levels required in this day and age.
Working in sales I arguably have a better insight into how important relationship building is with the multiples here in the UK and to be at risk of our time, effort and resources being thrown to the wayside due to the poor service (both delivering goods and communication) is something I have never experienced.
Whether it be lack of communication, missed deliveries or damaged stock, ultimately the results have not been acceptable and I would refrain from working with this business in the future.

We have had regular deliveries from this company recently, some on time some late. Yesterday really was the worst service possible! By 3.00pm I thought I would call my supplier to get an eta as we usually get an AM delivery. Our suppliers informed me the delivery eta was 16.30. By 18.30 it hadn’t arrived - no phone call, nothing!!! I went home thinking it would be first thing the next morning. so got to work at 7.00am It arrived at 11.00am.
I understand things get delayed, but at least keep people informed! And before the reply “we tried to call “our client” but they had gone home”
We are in 2022 - Google the recipient, & call them so that we know what is happening, and can the inform our clients!!

🚩🚨 Despite being this transports companies biggest customer spending approx £500,000 (in the past 12 months) and housing thousands of pallets in the warehouse paying storage, giving all of our transport needs to we now face extreme difficulties in moving forward positively.
Our business relies on supplying customers online and retailers (Aldi, Lidl, Morrisons, B&M, Home Bargains, Asda etc) Recently our service level has been appalling. The owner seems to be on holiday all the time so isn't aware of issues internally which is also alarming. The recent issues started when we had multiple failed retail deliveries due to their transport drivers damaging goods en route (This has happened countless times) This means we miss the delivery, risk losing the order and then every day we are late our business is losing money. We spend years building positive retail relationships for Silver X to single handedly ruin our reputation causing us internal chaos with multiple unhappy customers due to only the transport side of the business. Silver X Prices are very high and the service doesn't match the extreme prices they charge for all transport related jobs. Furthermore, we have been getting charged for shunts from their warehouse to ours (1-20 pallets per movement) when they have failed to turn up rescheduled to the following day and then billed us for both days - we discovered this. There is very little care around the situations I have so far explained. We recently decided we need to find an alternative transport company to deliver our HQ orders and retail deliveries and this is where the major problem now comes - due to poor service and unrealistic pricing this decision was not taken lightly but is our only means of proceeding forward and ensuring our customers/retailers receive a better service from us due to knock on effects of Silver X service however since finding another local firm Silver X have now banned this company from their premises claiming there is a legal dispute, forcing us to continue using them or being informed we need to move our pallets out of storage. This is the worse company I have ever dealt with and would never recommend to anybody unless things change dramatically I am going to escalate this as far as possible and ensure everybody locally and nationally is made aware of our treatment by uploading images, messages and my true opinion on events to date so far. We've had multiple issues from damaged pallets and incorrect stock to missed collections and failed deliveries without being notified of such. On several occasions they have failed our deliveries and then called our phone lines out of hours (which are not manned outside of office hours) failing too leave us a voicemail or follow up email so that we are aware of this when back in the office. We have been charged substantial amounts for pallets to be reworked which have then collapsed on delivery. All of this has had a hugely negative impact on our business, creating more work for us all mopping up the mess and has meant that we have risked losing contracts with stockists due to their failure to deliver
