Big House Experience

I can't recommend Big House Experience highly enough. We had a wonderful weekend celebrating my dad's 80th birthday with family and friends. The service from both Big House and the team at the house was first-class!

Terrific service from start to finish. My wife had a wonderful 60th birthday in the Lake District with family and friends. We’ll treasure the memories of the weekend forever. You really did deliver on a fabulous big house experience. 10/10! Thank you! Ray.

The team at Big House Experience have been amazing. We booked the stunning Great Oak Farm for my 50th birthday but with Covid19 we have decided to postpone until next year. Claire and the team couldn't have been more helpful during this challenging time and I will be looking at their site first for any future house rentals.

A wonderful break with the whole family. Big House Experience were helpful, but did give some incorrect information about the property we stayed at, which led to the owner of the house coming to sort it. Hatherton house is beautiful and has so much to do, indoors and out. Was definitely an experience to remember.

Three generations of our family enjoyed a weekend away at Hatherton House, Cheshire.
Six grandchildren could enjoy the superb facilities both in the house and garden. For a family get together or celebration, Hatherton House is a stunning environment. Big House Experience were first class in their administration in helping us organise this never to be forgotten weekend.

Booked a house pre-pandemic through BHE & was refused a refund despite it being illegal to gather in groups - instead they offered a credit note for the same booking next year. However when attempting to book the following year we were advised that only bookings of 7 days minimum were being considered. Still no offer of compensation or refund.

Eventual resolution brought about by reaching out to the owners of the property who were very reasonable.

All in all an extremely unpleasant experience. Would not recommend at all.

Didn't attend due to covid restrictions. Still waiting for deposit to be returned. ****UPDATE**** ... Although payment took a while to be returned, this was NOT the fault of the company, but delay from owner. All has been explained and correspondence been great. So therefore, have updated and changed my rating on this review.

We had such a fantastic weekend! Thoroughly recommend the big house experience, having all the family together under one roof made for the best weekend ever. Thanks to Liz and all at TBHE for making it so easy.
