Chalet Daisy (26 December 2016 – 2nd January 2017)
Don’t underestimate this small chalet for eight or its location in La Tania.
Here you find the commitment, hospitality and cooking of our hosts David and Debbie wholly make up for the rooms which were small but functional.
The location next to the lifts is superb even for early season skiing when the snow may be a little thin on the ground.

Booked with Silver Ski and everything was done for us, what a fantastic time we had......so much so that we have booked again for next year already, they kept us informed at all time. The food was amazing thanks to the chefs, and the location was perfect......

My experienced with Silver Ski started as a pleasant one. I booked my holiday with them over the phone with a polite lady. I had planned to visit La Tania with my partner departing from LGW. The airline they had booked for us was Thomas Cook. Soon after Thomas Cook announced it was ceasing all trading I had received an email from Silver Ski that my flights HAD ALREADY been changed from LGW to LDN Stansted. A change that was not agreed by me with my consent and a change had I would have known about - I would not have agreed too, So I wished to cancel my holiday and receive a full refund. Given that London Stansted is a further 2 hours and 15 minutes away from Gatwick it is not accessible for me AND the taxi would have been in total an extra £330 (nearly the cost of one persons stay in the chalet) They refused to give me my refund. I naturally consulted the CAA who advised this is a significant change and I would be entitled to a refund. Silver Ski have declined to offer me a refund and have been appalling in how they have handled the situation. I am incredibly disappointed that this is the way they have behaved, I have travelled with Silver Ski before and have recommended them to friends however, their lack of basic customer service has costed me time and money to put a situation right that they should have from the start. I DO NOT recommend Silver Ski as a holiday provider and would warn any one off booking with them due to reasons above and their clear love for money and very evident lack of basic respect for LOYAL customers.

I went on several holidays years ago with Silver ski and they were the best holidays I've ever been on. Everything was sorted, no worries at all. Great places to stay in ideal locations, fantastic access to the slopes, great hosts, fantastic food and endless wine. I hope they come back strong after covid. Perhaps the people giving bad reviews because their holiday was cancelled due to a worldwide pandemic never experienced a silver ski holiday before. I have priceless fond memories and will forever be grateful. Best ski holiday company, I was lucky to find them.

Our holiday was cancelled by Silver Ski at the last minute and Silver Ski are refusing to refund the cost of our holiday and the lift passes, even though they’ve received refunds from airlines and lift companies. Hundreds of people are owed thousands of pounds by Silver Ski and they are refusing to even communicate with us all. Disgraceful behaviour. Don’t even think of using this company.

A terrible company to deal with, they do not deserve to be in business. They have just closed the office and have refused to even communicate with their customers - take a look at Silverski Cancellations 2020 on Facebook to see just how many unhappy customers they have. 5 months on, we are still waiting for a refund for a family holiday - as I say, they do not deserve to be in business.

Absolutely dreadfull company. They cancelled the trip and are refusing to refund or communicate. The fact that they will have been refunded ski passes and no staff costs etc, they are scammers.
Do not use this company.

Obviously now refering to long passed experience, sadly.
I was looking to get back onto the slopes after a knee operation had kept me away for a few years, and was upset to see that they had ceased trading in March 2021.
Started using them way back in the late eighties when they were small and friendly with that added personal touch, skied with Len Silver on a number of occasions.
Went back to Verbier most years until they stopped offering holidays there. Always had great chalet hosts.
I usually chose slightly smaller chalets that were mainly well positioned with good access to the slopes.
The move from Saturday to Sunday early morning flights helped immensely with swift transfers even after the roads into the mountains were improved.
Will be sadly missed.
