Travel Express

Posting on behalf of my parents. They travelled with Travel Express beginning of this year 2022. Alhumdulilah they had a fantastic time. The group leader Mahdi was very well organised, helpful and always readily available. Especially with all the new rules and apps. My parents were taken well care of. Have travelled with TE previously and we always recommend them and always go back to them for Hajj and Umrah. Big jzk and May Allah swt reward you and make you successful in this life and the next.

If I could give negative stars I would for Travel Express. This company is very unethical. I booked with them just before the pandemic hit in 2020 and for obvious reasons the journey was not possible. I asked for a refund to which they said that they could only give me half as the airline did not cancel the flight. I didn’t understand how I didn’t meet the grounds for a full refund as there was a whole pandemic happening. Regardless, I agreed to take half the refund. This was all communicated via email so there is a paper trail for this. I did not receive the fund despite chasing it up several times with staff at Travel express. I even escalated it to Mohamed Bazi (the CEO of the company) who promised that I would receive it. it’s now 2022 and still no REFUND!! It’s unfair to lose out on my hard earned money especially when I had no control over the circumstances that stopped my travel. Please do not travel with this company as they have no respect for their customers nor do they keep their promises!!!

My experience of using travel express is great as they are one of best travel operator for hajj and umrah . I am still waiting for my refund. When I rang ATOL they advised me travel express had cancelled their licence during covid and have not renewed their licence. If you are booking a package holiday it is not protected.

They took money for umrah and promise to return money if I don't get visa
I am looking for refund from 8 months no response at all . I made thousands of calls for refund but same answer we will refund you .
I recommend people don't go near to them such a fraud company.

Avoid these people, they are crooks and absolutely unprofessional wheeler dealers - they took a huge Hajj deposit from me and won’t give me my money back now that they have been unable to offer Hajj services this year. They don’t respond to emails or phone calls. Look at other reviewers’ woes as well. Shocking and absolutely horrendous. Be warned! Avoid like the plague.

Both Mohammed Basi & Idris are liar and never fulfil there commitments also didn't clear dues of there employees

Just been on Umrah with Travel Express! Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah great experience!
They have Professional, friendly staff and the trip was well organised. I was dealing with the agent Taha who kept me updated throughout the process/journey.Both hotels in Makkah and Madinah were in close vicinity of the Two Holy Mosques.
We had the privilege of being accompanied by the group leader Sheykh Mahdi. His passion to impart islamic knowledge is incredible. His love for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was very evident when he gave us a guided tour of Masjid Al-Nabawi. Great learning opportunity opportunity. JazakAllah khair Sheykh Mahdi!
I highly recommend Travel Express and In sha Allah myself planning to be on another 3 Sacred Masajid journey with them soon, In sha Allah.

Awful awful company. My parents have been messed about so much by this company. No itinary, wrong dates consistently given for travel there and back, wrong visa for majority of the group and was a chance no one would get to even perform Umrah once they were in Makkah. Have paid for a certain amount of days and now flying back early so have wasted money on parking before and after the Umrah trip. Fear Allah!
