Initially when we got to Medina for some strange reason we were put up in a grotty temporary hotel for 24 hours until our original hotel was ready for us. This should have been an indication of how poor this company’s organisation skills are. This hotel was small, cramped and dirty. The toilet did not flush and the shower (if you can call it that) was no more than a trickle of water. At least the air conditioning worked. The food would have been enough to make your stomach turn. At the time my family and I found it quite funny (being our first day), little did we know the entire trip would continue like this.
We were promised Islamic talks, classes and excursions. And I can say that throughout the entire 18 days we were there we had nothing. This did not even feel like a group at all. It was almost as if United Worldwide Travel got us to Saudi Arabia and the left us to our own devices. With all the praying that we did I cannot even remember one instance where the entire group prayed together as a unit. Even the management team were nowhere to be found most of the time. Funny enough, they all came with their wives and family members (I guess we paid for them also) and they stayed at different hotels. Guaranteed, that they would be in better hotels then ours with more luxury I’m sure.
We were given apartments once we got to Azizia. To our surprise the company had overbooked the rooms and half the group had to stay 20 minutes (by car) away. Families, husbands, wives and children were split up. These apartments were filthy. Dirty rooms, broken toilets, air conditioners not working, blood stained bedsheets and remnants of food and dinks left in rooms by other guests that had used the rooms before us.
Hajj is supposed to be a peaceful and spiritual experience. But because of the way this company handled our group a lot of the Hajjis were stresses, angry, argumentative and I can honestly say that our patients were tested. On many occasions there were physical fights, abuse and arguments between the group based on the lack of care provided by this company. It felt as though United Worldwide Travel took our money and made us stay in the worst possible conditions to maximise their own profits. I even heard one of the management team threaten a group member by saying he would physically headbutt him if he did not stop complaining.
It was the first time that I had been to Hajj and I did not know what to expect. But it was obvious to me once I saw other groups that we were lacking in every department. My other family members had been to Hajj and Umrah before so they could compare against something else. They were physically upset and made ill by the way we were treated and the package we were on.
This is the first time that I have ever left any feedback for any companies online. I was compelled to do so because of the way United Worldwide Travel had treated us. I urge all brothers and sisters that went of this particular Hajj trip to also contribute to the reviews as it would stop other falling into the same trap. I wish there were reviews on this company when I booked with them. The management team were Abdul-Qader Giama (from United Worldwide Travel (Director)), Abdi Razak, Sheikh Muhammed Mustaqim and Mustafa.
United Worldwide Travel should be ashamed of how they treated pilgrimage goers. They took advantage of our good nature in return for our money.
The day that I was invited to the Hajj Seminar I realised that I made the biggest mistake. Because it was held in a very small mosque in east London and then in the top Attic cramped up and the weather was very hot. I got so upset thAt my wife could see I was not happy. From that Seminar the group showed they were not up for providing what we were told. It was so unorganised that a five year old could have done better.
Initially when we got to Medina we could not find the organisers for some time. When we find them we had to wait hours to get on a bus to take us to hotel. This should have been an indication of how poor this company’s organisation skills are. The hotel was 4* I tell you it was not in the star rating at all. It was small, cramped and dirty. The toilet did not flush and the shower (if you can call it that) was no more than a trickle of water. At least the air conditioning worked. The food would have been enough to make your stomach turn.

We were the only group in the lobby fighting over rooms because they were not organised.

United Worldwide Travel should be ashamed of how they treated us. They should be band from providing Hajj and Umrah service. NO ONE SHOULD TRUST THEM AND PLEASE DON’T USE THEM.
We are very pleased with our experience and felt that our Hajj has been accepted Alhamdulillah.
We would highly recommend this agency to any first timers and those who have experienced Hajj or Umrah
Thank you
Engineer Yusuf Gani
I was also very comfortable and impressed with the hotels and food provided throughout the trip.
I really feel that my Hajj was accepted Alhamdulilah.
We would both highly recommend this agency to anyone new or those who have experienced Hajj before.
Thank you

Wonderful, Absolutely outstanding Journey, I could not have asked for a better Hajj 2019 experience I’m sure, literally very satisfied with the services at United Worldwide Travel had provided us in Saudi Arabia.
Professional services provided for my Hajj. Good communication was provided throughout. I would highly recommend using them for your Hajj and Umrah for future insha’allah requirements.
May Allah grant you the best rewards.

Travel agencies such as this one do nothing of benefit to anyone except fill out paper forms, scan a few documents and send a couple of emails. It is entirely a bureaucratic endeavour which requires no skill or expertise. Yet thousands of Muslims every year pay money to these agencies; often, the money will be in the amount of thousands of pounds. Travel agencies should be disgusted and appalled by their reckless pursuit of profit. Horrible, absolutely horrible.
